Dr F Pfeffer
Friedrich "Fritz" Pfeffer (30 April 1889 – 20 December 1944) was a German dentist and Jewish refugee who hid with Anne Frank during the Nazi Occupation of the Netherlands, and who perished in the Neuengamme concentration camp in Northern Germany. In Anne Frank's posthumously published diary all names, apart from those of the Frank family, were changed to preserve the privacy of individuals mentioned. Pfeffer was given the pseudonym Albert Dussel.
Dr Samual Benis
Dr. Samuel A. Bemis (1793 - 1881) was one of the earliest photographers in the United States. A small number of his daguerreotypes have survived. Bemis was a Boston dentist when in April 1840 he acquired an early camera and became one of the first Americans to take a photograph. His extant daguerreotypes include views of Boston and of the White Mountains of New Hampshire. These images are the earliest known American photographs of natural landscapes.
Jan ''La Grand'' Boubli
Jan "Le Grand" Boubli (born November 13) is a French professional poker player from Paris. Jan Boubli was a dentist for 22 years before retiring. In July 2003 he finished second at the World Poker Tour (WPT) second season Grand Prix de Paris. In September 2005 he won the European Poker Tour (EPT) second season Barcelona Open. He defeated Christer Johansson heads-up to win €426,000 ($528,195). As of 2008, his total live tournament winnings exceed $1,200,000.
Edgar Buchanan
Edgar Buchanan (March 20, 1903 – April 4, 1979) was an American actor with a long career in both film and television, most familiar today as Uncle Joe Carson from the Petticoat JunctionGreen Acres and Beverly Hillbillies television sitcoms of the 1960s. As Uncle Joe, "who is moving kinda slow", he took over as proprietor of the Shady Rest Hotel following the death of Bea Benaderet, who had played Kate Bradley. However before becoming a successful actor Edgar was a successful dentist like his father before him.

Dipak Nanalal Chudasama
, born 20 May 1963 in Mombasa, was a Kenyan cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman. (Perhaps mistakenly) known as "The Doc", Chudasama was, as well as being a cricketer, a fully-qualified orthodontist. Having made his debut as early on as 1980, Chudasama represented Kenya at the 1996 World Cup, and the 1990, 1994 and 1997 ICC Trophies. In all, he played in 20 One-Day International matches. His top innings score was a stylish 122 against Bangladesh in Nairobi, a then-record opening partnership for the nation of Kenya.Chudasama has toured several countries in Asia and Africa, as well as Holland.
Martin Van Butchell
Martin van Butchell (1735–1814)was an eccentric British dentist who put his dead wife on display, reputedly because of a clause in a marriage contract. Butchell became a dentist in the 1760s London. He advertised in St. James's Chronicle with a text: "Real or Artificial Teeth from one to an entire set, with superlative gold pivots or springs, also gums, sockets and palate formed, fitted, finished and fixed without drawing stumps, or causing pain.’’ When his wife Mary died on January 14, 1775, he decided to have her embalmed and turn her into an attraction to draw more customers. He contacted his teacher of surgery and anatomy Dr. William Hunter and Dr. William Cruikshank who agreed to do the job.

GReeeeN is a Japanesepop/rock/hip hop/breakbeatvocal group from Kōriyama city in Fukushima prefecture, comprising the all-male four members Hide, Navi, 92, and Soh. They made their debut with Universal Musicin 2007. Their logo image is of a mouthful of teeth, and the four e's indicate the number of members. The sound production is handled by Hide's older brother JIN, a former guitarist of Pay money To my PainAccording to their website at Universal Music Japan, their catch phrase is "Rock'n'Breakbeatswith Four Microphones". One notable characteristic is that none of the members have ever shown their faces in the public sphere as a part of GReeeeN, whether in theirpromotional videos,CDs, television performances, or theInternet. In their only performance onTV-U Fukushima's music show Music Bar Palo Palo (broadcast on January 19, 2007), the group even went as far as censoring their faces during the performance. GReeeeN cites keeping their professional lives indentistrycompatible with their musical ventures as the reason, but one of the members, Hide, has hinted that after all of the members pass the prefectural examination in dentistry and receive permission from the directors of the hospitals they work for, the group may consider a public appearance. All members studied at the dentistry department atOhu University, in Fukushima prefecture, (Hide, Navi, and 92 have all graduated, only Soh is still in school), and the group debuted while still in school in 2007.
Chapin Aaron Harris A.M., M.D., D.D.S. (May 6, 1806 in Pompey, N.Y. - September 29, 1860 in Baltimore, Maryland) was an American physician and dentist and dentistry school founder. Harris is considered one of the founding members of the profession of Dentistry in the United States of America, father of American dental science, and a pioneer of dental journalism. He has been inducted in the hall of fame of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Peter Kunter
Peter Kunter (born 28 April 1941 in Berlin, Germany) is a former professional football goalkeeper. Playing for Eintracht Wetzlar Peter Kunter was capped for the German youth national team in 1958, amassing nine appearances. Afterwards he played four times for the amateur national team. From 1961 on Kunter studied dentistry, sports and German studies in Freiburg while playing for second tier Freiburger FC. In 1965 he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt, amassing 234 Bundesliga games and 17 games in DFB-Pokal and UEFA Cup/Cup Winners Cup. In December 1969 he received a doctorate of dentistry. He played in the final of the first DFB-Pokal win of the eagles in 1974 against the Hamburger SV. The next time one year later against MSV Duisburg he was a substitute.
Dr Markus Merk
Dr. Markus Merk (born March 15, 1962 in Kaiserslautern) is a former top-level German football referee as well as a dentist. He is a six-time winner of the German Referee of the Year Award and the record holder in games refereed in the Bundesliga. In 2005, Merk was awarded the German Bundesverdienstkreuz (Federal Cross of Merit) in recognition of his service to football and his charity work in India. He ended his career by refereeing the match between Bayern München and Hertha BSC Berlin on the last day of the Bundesliga season 2007/08 on May 17, 2008. He is considered to be one of the best referees to ever officiate, being ranked 2nd behind Pierluigi Collina, in the all-time rankings
